Josephine is a qualified social worker with experience in complex and comorbid mental health. She has a Bachelor of Psychological Science, a Graduate Diploma of Counselling and Psychotherapy, a Certificate IV in Mental Health and a Master of Social Work.
A lived experience of family members with mental ill health sparked Josephine’s interest and she has pursued her passion for major mental health ever since. Josephine has worked with individuals at risk of suicide and those bereaved by suicide, in crisis support, and with adults, youth and children with mental health issues.
Josephine works systemically and within both the family and broader systems in individual’s lives. She has particular interests in complex mental health, trauma, developmental difficulties, domestic conflicts, and social and emotional challenges.
Josephine is working towards her accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker as part of an internship at Bower Place.
