Clinical Practice & Skill Development with Children, Adolescents, Adults, Couples and Families
Enhance your knowledge of systemic therapy & accrue PD points for 2016 and 2017
Are you looking for an intensive, professional learning experience?
Bower Place is offering supervised clinical placements in the Complex Needs Clinic, which consults to complex, multi-system, co-morbid difficulties with referrals from education, health, justice and welfare systems. Clients present a wide range of mental health, relationship and individual difficulties.
Each participant establishes goals to provide relevant professional development and meet their learning plan. These may relate to a specific system (e.g. school, health), group (e.g. family, couples), skill area (e.g. interviewing, intervention) and symptom or problem category (e.g. eating disorders, childhood behaviour problems). All clinical work is supported by theoretical material & discussion.
Senior practitioners, Malcolm Robinson, Social Worker and Catherine Sanders, Clinical Psychologist work closely to provide an integrated practical & theoretical learning experience tailored to the participants’ skill level and personal goals.
